Dear Diary,

Well, today, came across solid, literal, and legitimate proof that the state of California is dirty and corrupt and crooked.

Here's a quote from the post I that made about it on social-media:

"Well, the missus and I now have solid proof that the state of California is honestly, literally, and legitimately corrupt/crooked. We've been in contact with the missus' lawyer, and depending on how things go, we might be able to sue the state and easily win.

(On various grounds, including violating actual collection civil-codes/laws such as the following - "Bad check laws and civil penalties: Dishonored checks, 4 years Civil Code §1719: 3 times the amount of the check, with a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $1,500.", no prior notification/notice of any actions to be taken against us which they're supposed to notify the person/people/party of, actually laughing at the people they're screwing over, and at the very least the stress and hardship this is causing. [all explained below])

So here's the skinny; seems our bank-account recently got dinged/fee'ed because the California DMV did some sort of collection legal-action against the account. Which had us both baffled, because we've never had any issue ever registering our current car, or prior cars. The missus decided to call the number on it, which then gave her a contact-number for the DMV office which it originated from.

Turns out they're *claiming* that a check written for registration on an old 1998 Dodge Neon, in 1999, that belonged to the missus, supposedly bounced, which was complete news to the missus, and they're attempting to collect on it... *now*. Let that sink in... a check from SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO. Another huge glaring issue is that the missus filed for bankruptcy in 2000, so that should also have wiped it out.

Further, every resource I've looked up states that the statute of limitations for a bad check, if there ever even was a bad check, in the state of California is roughly 3-4 years. (Some sources said 3, others stated 4.) Which has well passed by in the seventeen year period we're currently looking at that they're trying to collect upon. The only way this could be even seen/viewed as legal in a court of law, is if they took collection actions and/or took it to small-claims court prior to 2004, which if it's just coming up now, more than likely, that never occurred; and further should have been dissolved in the bankruptcy.

LINK: California Debt Collection Codes/Laws
While on the phone with the DMV office in which the order originated from, the missus was demanding proof of this supposed check, and asked to have it mailed to her. It was one excuse after another as to why they couldn't mail it to her, etc.

While obviously frustrated and letting the person on the phone know that this was stressing her out, driving her crazy, and shady as hell, along with asking to speak to a supervisor, the DMV operator actually started laughing at her (we both heard it over the phone); when the missus demanded that he stop laughing at her, he responded in saying, "you can't even see my face right now, how can you claim that I'm laughing!?". *facepalm*

So yeah, let this be a public service announcement... should you ever find yourself having some strange "collections" issue arise out of nowhere, make sure to do your due diligence, research, and especially look up the statute of limitations for the issue that you're facing.

For the current time being, I'll keep on assuming that this state's government is run and operated by Mickey Mouse and company, because between this and some other past issues sure makes me believe that those in power here may as well be a sideshow circus."

Dear Diary,

Even though I'm pro-GamerGate; I'm seriously wondering if there's still a "battle" to be fought within the gaming-community for several reasons.

First and foremost, the entire SJW-insanity has spread so far outside of the gaming-industry at this point, it's everywhere, and by these GGers thinking that some sort of victory within *just* the gaming-community will make it ALL go away, they're just fooling themselves.

Secondly, I'm a member of a few GamerGate groups, and it's almost getting painful even trying to be involved anymore.  Between members bickering back and forth over all the many semantics of "what is" and "what isn't" GamerGate.  Which is stupid as hell, considering GamerGate is many things to many different people.  To some it's about combating corruption in gaming-media, to others it's about combating corruption in all media, to some it's about combating corruption in the games-industry, to some it's full on anti-SJW, to some it's pure anti-feminism (which boggles me, since I'm perfectly fine with traditional-feminism), to some it's all about preserving the video-game industry and resetting it to what it once was, etc.  (The narrative pushed by the liberal-media that it's just a hate-group about hating women and minorities and that they're worse than ISIS, is all a load of BS!)

Anywho; the biggest irony is, I used to dodge politics like the plague.  Up until a year or so ago, I used to always have to look up the meaning of liberal, conservative, democrat, republican, authoritarian, libertarian, etc... just to remind myself what each one represents.  It was GamerGate that sucked me into politics, the more people posted in GamerGate groups about the elections, etc, etc.  The more they kept going on about the left and the right and what GamerGate was supposed to be in comparison, and all this other craziness.  Well, irony went full-circle, when I was finally sucked into the politics, and then upon sharing a bunch of mind-blowing dirt on Hillary Clinton, the hopeful queen-SJW that looks to run the entire country, as well as be power of the free-world herself, had a decent amount of backlash from people again trying to do the same old horse-crap about "what is" and "what isn't" GamerGate... and SUDDENLY it mattered that it wasn't a) about games-journalism and b) wasn't about video games.  Ummm, okay, when saying what a goalpost shifting it was, the same old tired, "oh we point this out on all non-GG related posts" BS came up.

Since then, I've gone quiet within GG, just watching from the sidelines... for the past week or so.  In that time have seen AT LEAST 10-20 posts/mentions that had ZERO to do with GamerGate, a lot of stuff even farther off the mark than anything I was posting!  Posts about why guns are awesome, and why we all need to hang on to our guns, etc, etc... which hey, to each their own... but gun topics are much farther from GamerGate than who's going to be running this damn country.

Further, got the tired nonsense about, "not everybody lives in the US", well no kidding... but when the hell does that stop any of these people in other countries, lecturing me about this, from flooding my newsfeed and the group with BREXIT posts... I would have had ZERO clue what Brexit even was if not for the GG groups I was in.  Sure it's all over the news now, but I was hearing about it and reading about it when it was fresh and brand spanking new!!!

Another thing I've noticed about these groups, is it seems to be a bunch of people sitting around sharing articles back and forth, yapping a lot, and doing the same old tired routine that's seen in the whole "trending" and "hash-tag" craze.  It's supposedly "raising awareness".  Translation for "raising awareness"... putting a flag on a mess, and waiting for everybody else to clean up the damn mess that WHOEVER stumbled upon.

(People can preach all they want to of the benefits of hash-tags... and I will admit, that tags in general for sorting, for easy finding, etc, is great... but the "raise awareness" fails on two fronts.  The genuine ones that truly raise positive awareness are the EXCEPTION... the two fronts it fails on is a) it's either raising awareness to a mess somebody sees and does NOTHING about THEMSELVES, and/or it's raising awareness of made-up gossip, hoax, BS, urban-legend information that only makes people dumber to spread the kool-aid!  b) Hash-tags, as much as so many want to deny it, are typically used to do the anonymous two-face talk... people see someone with a wardrobe that is "just so no", they snap a stealth-pic, post it online and hash-tag it #"WardrobeSoNo" or see somebody that has an issue with Rosacea, again, sneak a stealth-pic and tend to hash-tag #"AttackOfKillerZits" or #"ClearisilWorksBrah" or even #"TrySomeSoapForOnce", etc.)

Anywho, reason I'm ranting now, is again the whole, "what's this have to do with GG"... one thing I've been seeing in a good number of these groups, is people sharing tweets that are WAY old, as in, no longer even relevant, to stir and stoke the flames of the fire, and keep nonsense relevant and act like it's brand new.  And I'm thinking, "okay, so, posting about the elections is a no... but Brexit and year or more old tweets and acting like they're recent is a-okay!?  WTF!?!?!?"  Which boggles my brain, because I know I'm a bit nuts, but the more I see of the internet, the more I feel like I'm the sanest person in the freaking nuthouse!

Today's date is June 26th, 2016 right?  I kid you not, somebody just posted in a GG group I'm in, "3hrs" ago, screen-caps of a fairly known/famous SJW/feminazi, that only says on it "Oct 11".  Okay, so, even if that's of 2015, that's AT LEAST *eight months* old... yet they're highlighting it, and people are posting on it, and analyzing it like it's current-event talking-point stuff!  Like wait... have we TRULY run out of issues/topics so badly that we're actually REHASHING old stuff, and trying to make it currently relevant!?  WTH!?!?  I mean, I'm seriously reading the comments this is getting, and people are commenting on it, like it's BRAND SPANKING NEW and actually GETTING FIRED UP over this!  WHAT!? *facepalm*

For ages I wanted to believe that the SJW/aGG/kool-aid/feminazi crowd were the slightly not-so-bright and fairly ignorant group... but the more I see of the groups I'm in... I dunno, it's like I don't want to be part of THOSE groups, but I still want to represent and stand for pro-GG.  Part of me wishes there could be some break-off or some other fork/branch of pro-GG so I don't have to feel like I'm standing among a bunch of drooling morons.  One thing this day and age has PROVEN TO BE DEAD ON THE MONEY... is any group becomes measured and weighed by their lowest common denominators... and let me tell you, in the groups I've been in, there's quite a few lowest common denominators... and I so want to merge my head with a brick-wall at the thought of people hearing the term "GamerGate" or seeing/hearing that I'm pro-GamerGate, and having to assume that I'm at the same mental level (or lack thereof) in comparison to a good number of these people.  Like WTF!?

The pro-GG groups laugh when insanely stupid nonsense is spouted by the SJW/feminazi/kool-aid/aGG types, and drone on about, "you sure you want this kind of stupidity representing you"... and sometimes I want to scream at them to look in the mirror... like, "do we really want a good number of you morons representing the rest of us!?!?!?".

I'm still searching and scouring around for decent "mature"/"adult"/"decent-IQed"/"relevant" pro-GG groups to have discussions where I don't feel my brain actually hurting as my IQ deflate at every other thing I see, especially since I don't really do Twitter nor Reddit... coming up fairly dry, but holding out hope that one day I might find other kindred-spirits like myself that got tired of hanging with the drooling dorks that can't tell last October from the upcoming Tuesday. *facedesk* >_<

EDIT: Oh look at that, as of a posting from "22hrs" ago, another reposted tweet, this time with an actual year on it, "31 Oct 2014", and everybody's sitting around, talking about it, commenting, making "clever" statements and one-liners while patting themselves on the back for being Masters of the Universe, and losing their collective brains over it (even though the tweet was a bit extreme and mind-blowing to be fair), as though it's current and in someway believe that by circle-jerking the same stuff from almost two years ago, over and over and over again, they're some how making decent change in some odd fashion or way. *rubs head*  Can the world please go back to sanity for just one week, pretty !@#!ing please with sugar on top!?  (And this is coming from somebody that wouldn't hesitate to point out their own insane lack of sanity.)

Dear Diary,

Well, I was checking out InfoWars this morning, and there was this new video on there, a video, or rather a message, that if spoken a decade or two ago, would have seemed like complete craziness, or like somebody experiencing an acid-trip, but today, it's dead on the money!

For at least the past decade or two, many of the things in the video are things I've been saying and noticing.  Things like the average person being desensitized and sapped of the energy/passion to keep strong in the face of overwhelming outrageous claims.  I often compare the modern-day to when I was growing up many moons ago, and back then, if a horrible massacre happened, or somebody was murdered, or something just horrific happened, EVERYBODY, and I mean *everybody* stopped what they were doing, were dazed, were sidelined briefly, in shock and awe, and they actually took a moment of compassionate/sympathetic silence to mourn for the victims... whereas now and days, the typical view seems to be, "oh, it's just another shooting... flip the page of change the channel", "oh, it's just another crashed plane with several hundred dead... flip the page or change the channel".

(Ever since 9/11, seems that when truly horrific and disgusting things happen now, most people will spend a few minutes in remorse, then endless amounts of time afterwards pointing fingers in every which direction finding people to blame, even people that had nothing to do with it and no connections.  Like the recent Pulse night-club shooting... the shooter pledged allegiance to ISIS to 911, yet before the bodies were even cold, there were already accusations that the Religious Right were to blame, and even others in denial trying to claim the entire thing was a hoax... rather than accept that it's awful, mourn for those that were slain, and look at the facts of the matter!)

9/11 Memorial and Remembrance.
There was even a part where it mention that the average person suffers something like Stockholm syndrome, where they feel trapped, where they looking around and thinking, "how is everybody falling for all of this" and feeling like they're all alone.  I'm often scouring through the internet trying to find at least some semblance of an open-platform with open-minded people that are like minded that are capable of pointing out and recognizing the nonsense, pointing out and speaking about the craziness... but there's hardly anything resembling that.  It's either blend in and try to play nice with the conformed sheep, or dive in with the extremists on the other side that tend to believe that free-access to porn at any age falls under "freedom of speech".  *facepalm*

Further how it talked about locking up technology and keeping the elite on top, that I've also noticed for at least a decade or two.  I grew up around technology, working in technology, helping to develop and repair technology, configure and setup technology... I've done a lot with technology along with system securities, Q/A, troubleshooting, etc.  Yet, it's been blowing my mind how we can become so advanced with home-computing that we can have VR in the home (finally after it was another tech that was squashed and locked away in the early to mid 90s) some 20 years later after it was originally introduced, on a private level, to dive into and explore limitless virtual-worlds, which sure, mainstream is expensive, but with searching around one can jury-rig an affordable VR headset and controls.

We've reached the level where we can do all that.  Yet, for over a hundred years (140+ to be precise), the mainstream automobile has had a couple tiny upgrades, but still seems like it's purposely held to a dumbed-down standard to be a gasoline burner to keep people dependent on high gasoline-prices.  Sure, there's the hybrid and the electric-car, but they didn't come about until almost a century after the first automobile prototype, and they're in essence actually a different prototype basis at the base-level.

On a side-note another thing about technology that bugs the snot out of me, is how dependent people are made to be on "throw away technology"; it's what's led to so many different connector-types, architectures, interfaces, etc to come along.  Similar to the automobile, rather than tweak up and overhaul the design, just deprecate and toss it, and replace it with a completely new standard.  (Aren't you tired of turning around after getting the "latest" *standard* like gold-plated Monster S-Video cables, to find out there's already something better?  VGA? DVI?  HDMI? Micro-HDMI?)

Along the way several redesigns of not just the automobile, but other common goods came along, to just have the government either shut them down outright, or buy them out just to lock the patent away forever... like the light-bulb that never burns out.

I mean, in a very short window of time (in comparison to how long this country has been established, or even the history of human growth over the centuries before that), depending on how one looks at it -- roughly 40 years give or take for the home PC, or perhaps even 80 years if a person wants to go back to the original announcement of the ENIAC "computer" (or perhaps more "calculator") -- but in that span of time, we as a species managed to go from vacuum-tubes, punch-cards, data cassettes, floppy disks, monochrome displays, text-based gaming, all the way up to realistic-looking graphical virtual-reality 3D immersive worlds -- the ability to go anywhere on the planet or in space from the comfort of your own living room -- yet, there was still no mind-blowing revelations or reconstructions of the automobile?  A prototype that was originally designed by Karl Benz in 1885, even though the form-factor and body-style has obviously changed over the years and by the manufacturer, the original concept from 140 years ago, aside from a tweak here or there (like the removal of the carburetor to replace with fuel-injection), was so dead on the money, that nothing over the past 140 years could possibly compete with the intial core-design!?

Anywho, I've rambled quite a bit here; linking the awesome video below.  Not saying anybody necessarily has to agree, but if they do, more power to them... if they don't, well, no problem and that's cool, to each their own, I still respect everybody's freedom to come to their own unique decisions and perceptions.. :)

Dear Diary,

Well, added a bit more flavor to the background.  Was just going to stick to a tropical theme, but then my passions for certain things got the better of me.  Oh well, allowed me to link more "popular destinations", heh.  Now just have to script to detect resolution dimensions and resize and re-position images accordingly... erm, meh.  Okay, so for the time being this blog is formatted for 1080p... sure, that works, lol. :P

Haven't had a chance to peruse the news much today, surprised though that Hillary hasn't been nabbed by the FBI yet and tossed into a hole, but in due time.  (Still several months to the elections, and Hillary to date has to have the most skeletons in her closet, more so than other candidates in the past few decades.  There were already plenty before, and it seems every week or two another one crops up, suffering succotash!)

Father's Day recently happened... so yeah, can't say I'm exactly feeling "Father's Day" on either end of that spectrum, but whatevs. ^_^

Anywho, off I go into the wild internet-yonder, hehe. >_<

Dear Diary,

Just finished getting this all setup; had some strange issues with a gadget seemingly becoming deactivated but managed to fix it.  Been a long day; going to bed, will post more tomorrow.

Things rattling through my head right now: Trump for President 2016, how horrible of a human being Hillary Clinton is, my newly found disdain of Obama after the proof surfaced that his administration has been supporting ISIS, etc.

Also have E3 gaming stuff rolling around through my head, really excited for Days Gone, and several other titles shown at the convention.

Then there's also the Superman Rebirth comic... looks awesome.  Haven't picked it up yet, but went ahead and looked at the spoilers for it anyways... loving the story arc!

Anywho, g'night diary, be back at it tomorrow. ;)
